André Polsky joined TMHC in 2004 after spending several years working as a field technician in the archaeological consulting industry. André earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Laurentian University in 1999. He went on to achieve a Master's degree in Anthropology from the University of Western Ontario in 2001. Since joining TMHC, André has been actively involved in the supervision and completion of numerous Stage 1 - 4 field projects, including the investigation of a historic portage trail on the French River. As part of this project, André trained and supervised a crew from the Dokis First Nation. He is currently acting as a field director and has also been involved in site mapping using a Trimble Datasystems Total Station. André's research interests include the archaeology of New France, the anthropology of education, and aging.
